Traffic stop on I-40 leads Wilson County deputy to find cocaine

30-year-old Lequintius Neal was charged with possession of cocaine after an officer found the substance during a search of his vehicle during a traffic stop.

On July 27th, a WCSO deputy made a traffic stop on Lequintius Neal for driving over the fog line on Interstate 40. When the deputy received consent to search his vehicle, a plastic bag with a rock-like substance was found in the center cup holder.

Neal then admitted to the deputy the substance was in fact cocaine.

Lequintius Neal was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine. He was later released on his own recognizance.
