Employee attempts to steal Dell laptop and chargers from CEVA Logistics

32-year-old Leo Morris was charged with theft of property after attempting to steal a laptop and chargers, valued over $5,000, from CEVA Logistics during his lunch break.

On October 22nd, Mt. Juliet Police Sergeant Lance Schneider responded to a theft at CEVA Logistics at 12008 Volunteer Boulevard.

Adair, manager on duty, stated Leo Morris, an employee, tried to leave the building for lunch with a new Dell Latitude 7400 laptop computer and two sets of charging cables in his backpack. The computer was taken from the factory shipping box, collectively valuing at $5,596.

Leo Morris was arrested and charged with theft of property. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $7,500 bond.
