27-year-old Alissa Kennedy was arrested and charged with assault after she threw a drink on, spit on, and slapped the mother of her boyfriend’s son at a Hardee’s parking lot.
On October 24, Lebanon Police Officer Corey Oakley arrived at the Hardee’s parking lot located at 701 South Cumberland Street and met with Whitley Tarpley. Whitley stated that when she and the father of her child, Alondre Shannon, were exchanging their son, Alondre’s girlfriend, Alissa Kennedy started, a verbal argument with her.
She said that Alissa exited her vehicle, threw a drink on her, and spit on her twice. Whitley tried to leave the situation but Alissa continued to speak to her. Whitley then exited her vehicle when Alondre grabbed her bra, breaking it, and punched her in the chest. Alissa then came back to slap her across the face, she said. Alondre and Alissa then left Hardees before Officer Oakley arrived.
Alissa Kennedy was arrested and charged with assault. She was released on a $2,500 bond.
