22-year-old Deambra Turner was charged with driving under the influence after she reportedly told an officer that she took three shots of tequila before he pulled her over for running a red light.
On December 13th, Wilson County Sheriff Deputy Maynard was sitting at a red light, and when the light turned green, a vehicle ran the opposite red light before turning onto I40 westbound.
A traffic stop was then made, and it was stated that the smell of marijuana was coming from the vehicle. The officer reported that Deambra was unsteady on her feet, and she admitted to having three shots of tequila before driving.
Deambra Turner was arrested and charged with DUI. She was released on her own recognizance.
