Lebanon man pulls knife on stepdad during argument about money

28-year-old Steven Robinson was charged with aggravated assault and resisting arrest after he pulled a knife on his stepdad during an argument about how he was spending his money.

On July 11th, Officer Sean Gilley was dispatched to 1206 Greentree Point Circle where he spoke to the complainant Eddie Jones, who stated that he and his stepson Steven Robinson had an argument over him spending money on unnecessary things.

Jones stated that Robinson was staring at him in a threatening manner and then got up and went to the kitchen and grabbed a knife. Jones went outside because he feared for his safety. Mr. Jones’ wife, Jeanine Robinson, was a witness to the altercation and able to collaborate Jones’ story. Officer Gilley tried to speak to Steven Robinson. Robinson stared at Officer Gilley in a threatening manner then started walking away. Robinson refused to stop when Officer Gilley ordered him to.

On August 28th, Steven Robinson was arrested on aggravated assault and resisting arrest. His bond was set at $9,000.
