MT. JULIET, TN – Two ‘boosters’ (shoplifters) arrested at Academy Sports & Outdoors after pushing out cart and bag full of unpaid merchandise. Christina Croslin, and Jasmine Wilson, charged with theft of merchandise over $1,000.

Mt. Juliet Police were dispatched to Academy Sports & Outdoors on April 6th, for a report of two suspicious persons inside the store. The store’s loss prevention officer first became suspicious when they two females were entering and exiting the changing room multiple times. A short time later, the pair, identified as 22-year-old Christina Faye Croslin, and 23-year-old Jasmine Wilson, both of Hermitage, TN, then pushed a shopping cart full of items, and one additional bag of unpaid merchandise, past all points of sale, and exited the store toward a parked vehicle.

As MJPD Officer Jones arrived, he was flagged down by the loss prevention officer, and was able to make contact with the two females, who were unable to produce a receipt for the items in their possession. Inside their vehicle, officers also located more items from the store, which were also without a receipt. The total amount of recovered merchandise was $1,021.65. Croslin and Wilson were bother charged with Theft of Merchandise over $1,000, and released on individual $1,500 bonds.
