Mt. Juliet Fedex Employee charged with multiple thefts from trucks

MT. JULIET, TN – 25-year-old FedEx employee Jamin Johnson has been charged with stealing items from FedEx trucks and concealing them in his personal backpack to remove them from the facility.

Mt. Juliet Police responded to a 100 FedEx Way on April 10th, in response to a report of employee theft. FedEx management reported their employee, Jamin M. Johnson, was observed on three occasions removing items from the assigned trucks of other employees, and placing them in his personal backpack. A review of security video showed on March 27th, Johnson took a box containing AirPods, valued at $200. On April 3rd, Johnson took a second box containing AirPods, and on April 10th, which prompted the security review, Johnson was observed taking a box containing a wireless charger and accessories from a truck, and once again placing it in his personal backpack.

It total, the value of the stolen items was estimated at $500. Jamin Johnson was booked into the Wilson County jail, charged with theft of property, and later released on a $1,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court in July.
