Woman charged with domestic assault after throwing bowl of cereal at sister, shoving her

32-year-old Leslie Vaughn is charged with domestic assault after Lebanon Police say she threw a bowl of cereal at her sister and shoved her during an argument.

On 2/04/2020, officers were dispatched to Webster Lane in reference to a domestic situation in progress. Upon arrival, police spoke with Leslie Vaughn who stated that she and her sister, Barbara Purkerson, had gotten into an argument. Leslie went on to say that during the argument she threw a bowl of cereal at Barbara and shoved her backward.

While speaking with Barbara police found that Leslie’s account was accurate and that Leslie was the primary aggressor in the situation. Leslie was then placed into custody and transported to booking.

Leslie Vaughn was charged with domestic assault and was later released on her own recognizance.
