According to the affidavit, she accused Edwards of saying he “brought her there to show her she was a whore just like her mother” before hurling and destroying dishes and other items in the home. Fisher also told the authorities that Edwards had slammed her head against a wall, grabbed her by her neck, and stabbed a door with a knife. Both individuals were intoxicated and officers observed “numerous red marks” all over Ms. Fisher’s body.

Richard Edwards was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He was released on his own recognizance.
