Lebanon teen charged after police serving warrant catch her hiding boyfriend in a closet

18-year-old Hannah Forkum was charged with false report and criminal trespass when she lied to authorities in an attempt to stop them from apprehending her boyfriend for an incident she was also implicated in.

On March 30th, Officer Allison Humes was attempting to serve multiple warrants for Zachary Swift at 619 East Market Street. According to the affidavit, Hannah Forkum answered the door and perpetually lied to the officer about Swift’s whereabouts, including calling him different names and suggesting “maybe he left in his truck.”

Hannah’s mother eventually interjected and allowed officers in the home. Zachary Swift was found concealed in a closet. Hannah’s efforts to mislead authorities was determined to be a false report.

Hannah Forkum was arrested and charged with filing a false report and criminal trespass for her connection to the same incident Swift was being served on. Her bond was set at $1,000.
