Man charged with 4 counts of domestic assault after threatening wife and 3 daughters

41-year-old Curtis Holland was charged with four counts of domestic assault when his wife told authorities that he had personally threatened each of their three daughters’ lives and seized her to throw her out. He also hadn’t slept in several days.

On April 14th, Officer Nathan Montoya was dispatched to 904 Bonny Blue Way for a domestic situation. Upon arrival he spoke with Mary Holland who informed them her husband Curtis Holland was suffering some mental matters and had not slept in several days. According to affidavits, she also told officers that Curtis had become abusive and threatened to hurt and/or kill her and the three daughters aged 18, 13 and 12. Mrs. Holland also stated Curtis had gone into each girl’s room individually to tell them they would never see their mother alive again and threatened their lives as well.

During an outburst Curtis suddenly grabbed Mary by both arms and proceeded to yank her out the front door prompting the 13-year-old to grab her father away and stop the attack. He released Mary and continued making threats but exited the residence to the backyard. Madeleine Sheldon, the 18-year-old daughter, and the two minor children corroborated Mrs. Holland’s explanation of the events. Curtis Holland was still in the back yard and told officers it was a misunderstanding and to speak with his family.

Curtis Holland was charged with four counts of domestic assault. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
