Lebanon man tells trooper he drank “a whole bunch” before driving; charged with DUI

48-year-old Justin Taylor was charged with driving under the influence when he crashed on Coles Ferry Pike and told a THP trooper he drank “a whole bunch” before operating the vehicle.

On May 10th, Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Tyler Grandstaff was called to a vehicle wreck at 9569 Coles Ferry Pike. According to the affidavit, the trooper observed driver Justin Taylor to exhibit typical signs of impairment and smelled the odor of adult beverages.

Taylor did not fair well on sobriety exams and when asked Taylor admitted to drinking “a whole bunch” before operating the vehicle.

Justin Taylor was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. He was later released on his own recognizance.
