Lebanon teen charged in Nashville after breaking cheating boyfriend’s phone

18-year-old Alison Caruana was charged with vandalism when an anonymous message led her to discover her boyfriend’s infidelity. She hurled his phone at a wall and shattered it which lead to the charges.

On April 30th, officers reported to Hobson Pike and Granny Wright Lane in regard to a domestic incident. According to the affidavit, Alison Caruana was visiting her boyfriend Marvaughn McClerkin at 7125 South Hampton Boulevard when she received an anonymous message via social media asking if they were still dating.

After this, Caruana looked through her boyfriend’s phone and found out there was indeed infidelity in the relationship. Upset by this discovery Caruana threw the iPhone, causing the screen to shatter. Mr. McClerkin was then prompted to restrain her from attempting to strike him. The officer noted Caruana admitted to the incident.

Alison Caruana was arrested and charged with vandalism. Her bond was set at $1,000.
