Lebanon woman charged with DUI after leaving the roadway and hitting a tree

34-year old Chesney Kellow was charged with DUI and driving on a revoked license when the vehicle she was driving left the roadway and collided with a tree on Central Pike.

On May 1st, Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper DeWunya Topps responded to a vehicle accident on Central Pike in Mt. Juliet. According to affidavits, Trooper Topps arrived and observed Chesney Kellow and beau sitting outside the vehicle. He noted “an odor of marijuana in the area” around them.

The trooper determined Kellow was the driver when the vehicle exited the roadway and collided with a tree. Kellow exhibited impairment on sobriety exams and it was discovered that she was driving illegally on a revoked license.

Chesney Kellow was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and revoked driver’s license. Her bond was set at $1,000.
