Man runs up to patrol car drunk after argument with ex-boyfriend

21-year-old Jaylan Jones was charged with public intoxication after he approached police, told them he had been arguing with his ex-boyfriend, and was found to be intoxicated.

On May 17th, Deputy David Stolinsky of the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office responded to an unwanted person call at 1000 Cedar Creek Village. When Stolinsky arrived at the residence, Jaylan Jones ran up to the patrol car.

Jones had slurred speech, delayed reactions, and reeked of alcohol. He had been arguing with his ex-boyfriend. Dylan Huff served as a witness to the events. Jones was arrested for the safety of himself and others.

Jaylan Jones was arrested and charged with public intoxication. His bond was set at $1,000.
