Missouri driver on prescription medications charged with DUI

34-year-old Jennifer Page, of Crane Missouri, was charged with driving under the influence after she was pulled over on Interstate 40 for swerving in traffic. She was on prescription medication at the time.

On May 19th, Tennessee State Highway Patrol Trooper Heath responded to a BOLO for a swerving vehicle on Interstate 40 at mile marker 250. Heath spotted the vehicle at mile marker 250. According to the affidavit, Page was veering out of her lane. Trooper Heath stopped Page and asked her to take field sobriety tests.

Page failed three standard and two alternate sobriety tests. Heath searched Page’s purse, finding a bottle of Hydrocodone and a bottle of Clonazepam prescribed to Page. She admitted taking both medications before getting behind the wheel.

Jennifer Page was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. Her bond was set at $1,500.
