Buddy’s Home Furnishings employees held at “gunpoint” for money

39-year-old Kevin Lee was charged with criminal attempt to commit aggravated robbery when he entered Buddy’s Home Furnishings in Lebanon and held his right arm behind his back suggesting he had a weapon and demanded money from employees.

On June 2nd, Buddy’s Home Furnishings (319 North Cumberland) reported a panic alarm where police came and interviewed the witnesses/victims Phabyn Gay and Geary Jackson. They described the defendant, Kevin Lee, who came in and demanded money with his right arm behind his back suggesting that he had a weapon.

Also, they said that he put his right hand in his pocket suggesting he had a weapon which placed them in immediate fear of their lives. Gay said that he tripped the panic alarm and told Lee that he needed to leave so he fled. General Manager, Tommy Highers, said that he was notified and gave the police Lee’s license plate number, name, driver’s license which the witnesses confirmed was the man that just tried to rob them.

Kevin Lee was arrested and charged with criminal attempt to commit aggravated robbery. His bond was set at $10,000.
