Lebanon man charged after speeding dangerously, caught with meth

40-year-old Stanley Potts was charged with possession of meth, reckless driving, and evading arrest when an officer observed and halted him for speeding and driving dangerously on South Cumberland.

On June 10th, Wilson County Sheriff Officer Paradis was alerted by a vehicle speeding and weaving through traffic northbound on South Cumberland. After halting the vehicle driven by Stanley Potts, a search of his person yielded two bags of suspected methamphetamine.

Stanley Potts was arrested and charged with possession of meth, reckless driving, and evading arrest. He was later released on his own recognizance.
