24-year-old Katherine Johnson was charged with driving under the influence when an officer noticed her failure to yield and almost cause a wreck. She could not complete field sobriety tasks.
On June 28th, Field Training Officer Seth Jackson observed a vehicle on South Cumberland fail to yield, which almost caused a wreck.
According to the affidavit, FTO Jackson immediately smelled booze when approaching Katherine Johnson. He also noted that she could not complete sobriety tasks.
Katherine Johnson was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. She was later released on her own recognizance.
