Officer finds meth and cocaine during traffic stop for expired tags

32-year-old Romaceo Cason was charged with possession of meth and cocaine with intent, possession of meth while driving, and driving on a revoked license after he was pulled over for having expired tags and gave police consent to search his vehicle.

On July 1st, Officer Scott conducted a traffic stop on a gold Tahoe operated by the Romaceo Cason for expired tags. During the traffic stop, Cason agreed to let Officer Scott perform a search of his vehicle.

Inside the Tahoe, the officer found a black glass case containing what appeared to be 6 grams of crystallized meth and 1 gram of cocaine. Officer Scott reported that he had intelligence of Cason selling around hotels in Lebanon. A computer check showed that his license is revoked from previous infractions from 2018.

Romaceo Cason was arrested and charged with possession of meth and cocaine with intent, possession of meth while driving, and driving on a revoked license. His bond was set at $61,000.
