46-year-old Melissa Anderson was charged with DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a revoked license, and three counts of simple possession after she was involved in a car accident and was found to be in possession of several drugs and a foamy mouth, per report.
On June 28th, Field Training Officer (FTO) Byrnes witnessed a vehicle come through the square and strike another car. This took place on North Cumberland at East High Street in Lebanon. FTO Byrnes found the reckless driver was Melissa Anderson, whose mouth was foamy and she spoke slowly, per report.
All of her actions, as described by the officer, were deliberately slow so he decided to administer a field sobriety test. She showed multiple clues of impairment throughout the many tests. Anderson had an orange pill identified as Clonazepam in her front left pocket and in her wallet there was a baggy with white residue, one bar pill of Xanax, and seven pills of Alprazolam. In the center console of the vehicle, there was a glass pipe found with residue on it. Anderson could not provide any prescriptions for the drugs found.
Melissa Anderson was arrested and charged with DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a revoked license, and three counts of simple possession. Her total bond was set at $3,000.
