Man charged with first DUI after report about a possibly impaired driver

20-year-old Brandon Holleman was charged with DUI after police responded to a call about a possibly impaired driver and deemed him to be intoxicated when he failed three field sobriety tasks.

On August 22nd, Deputy Hite received a call regarding a possibly impaired driver operating on a public roadway. Deputy Jordan located the subject vehicle and pulled Brandon Holleman over. He made contact with Holleman and observed he smelled of an alcoholic beverage, had red watery eyes, slurred speech, and was unsteady on his feet.

Three field sobriety tasks were assigned and Holleman showed signs of impairment during all three. Holleman was then taken into custody and consented to an alcohol blood test.

Brandon Holleman was arrested and charged with a DUI first offense. His bond was set at $13,000.
