Man trespasses and steals from Walmart despite several warnings

38-year-old Michael Crotzer was charged with violation of probation, theft of merchandise, and criminal trespassing after he walked into Walmart, placed items in a cart, and left without paying.

On August 10th, Lebanon Police Officer Rourke was dispatched to Walmart located at 615 South Cumberland Street to investigate a possible theft of property. During their investigation, Officer Rourke discovered that Michael Crotzer entered the store, placed several items in a shopping cart, and then walked past every register without paying for the items.

The estimated amount for the stolen items totaled out to $102.70. Mr. Crotzer had already been warned that he was banned from all Walmart locations due to theft. The first warning was on February 3rd, 2017 in Algood, TN, again in Mt. Juliet on July 20th, 2018, and finally on January 20th, 2020 at the Hendersonville location.

Michael Crotzer was arrested and charged with violation of probation, theft of merchandise, and criminal trespassing. His bond was set at $4,000.
