Nashville man charged with DUI while in Twice Daily parking lot

25-year old Joshuan Betances Martell was charged with DUI after a Twice Daily employee stated to a Tennessee Highway Patrol Officer that he appeared to be intoxicated.

On August 17th a Twice Daily employee of the 911 S. Hartman Drive store alerted Trooper DeWunya Topps with Tennessee Highway Patrol that Joshuan Betances Martell appeared to be intoxicated.

Trooper Topps made contact with Joshuan and noted that during a conversation with him, he exhibited slurred speech. When Joshuan opened his vehicle door, the trooper noted a strong alcoholic odor emitting from inside. He admitted to the trooper that he was drinking. He was given standard field sobriety tasks which he failed.

Joshuan Betances Martell was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and his bond was set at $1,500.
