35-year-old Jessica Simpson was charged with aggravated assault when she brandished a pistol toward a juvenile employee of Mister Car Wash over an argument about their closing time.
On August 4th, police recognized a vehicle from a description of an aggravated assault call from Mister Car Wash on 457 North Mt. Juliet Road with defendant Jessica Simpson driving.
Police conducted a traffic stop of Simpson’s vehicle near Adams Lane after she left the car wash. The victim is a juvenile and said that Simpson became upset about the business closing for the night, so they argued. After the argument, she walked to the passenger side of her vehicle and retrieved a Ruger 9mm semi-automatic pistol and waved it at him saying “I’ve got this for you.” She then got into her vehicle and fled before the police arrived at the scene. The whole incident was caught on security footage showing her wave the pistol at the juvenile.
Jessica Simpson was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. Her bond was set at $7,500.
