Officer Wiley had to knock on the window to wake her up and then had her perform a standard field sobriety test. She performed poorly, so the officer obtained a search warrant to obtain a blood sample. Inside the car, the officer found a backpack in the passenger seat that had a loaded Ruger LC9S handgun in it as well as a glass pipe in the center console.

Chandler Burroughs was arrested and charged with DUI, possession of a firearm while intoxicated, and possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $4,000.
