Highway Patrol records impaired woman driving nearly 20 miles over the speed limit

22-year-old Priscila Aguilar-Gonzalez was charged with driving under the influence and possession of marijuana when Highway Patrol’s radar recorded her speed at 19 miles over the posted speed limit and was found with marijuana during the search.

On August 31st, Tennessee Highway Patrol Officer Seale was on his usual patrol when his radar registered a vehicle traveling at 89 MPH in a 70 MPH zone. The officer initiated a traffic stop and identified the driver as Priscila Aguilar-Gonzalez.

The officer noted there was a strong aroma of marijuana originating from inside the vehicle. Officer Seale gave Priscila several field sobriety tests, and she showed clues of impairment during each task. During the search of Priscila’s belonging, officers found a bag with a green leafy substance believed to be Marijuana.

Priscila Aguilar-Gonzalez was charged with driving under the influence and possession of marijuana. Her bond was set at $2,000.
