Lebanon man caught with stolen vehicle gets fifth driving on suspended charge

37-year old Michael Meyer was charged with possession of heroin, theft of property, and his fifth driving on a suspended license when he was caught with a stolen vehicle at a Mapco in Mt. Juliet.

On August 31st, the Automatic License Plate Reader (ALPR) picked up a stolen license plate belonging to Cecilia Tucker that was reported stolen on August 28th. MJPD Officer Fulton observed the vehicle at a Mapco gas pump located at 194 South Mount Juliet Road.

When asked about the stolen vehicle, Meyer said that he got it from a man in Antioch. Meyers informed Officer Fulton he had a syringe of heroin in the vehicle. Upon the search of the vehicle, a small amount of heroin was retrieved. Meyer’s license was suspended and had four priors – November 2002 and December 2010 in Davidson County, October 2013 in Wilson County, and November 2013 in Williamson County.

Michael Meyer was arrested and charged with theft of property, driving on a suspended license, and possession of heroin. His bond was set at $9,000.
