Mt. Juliet man slices girlfriend’s leg, pulls her hair because she wouldn’t have sex with him

29-year-old Eric Deleon was charged with aggravated assault and two counts of domestic assault involving incidents with his girlfriend and cousin all within a three day period.

On August 28th, Officer Chris Barth was dispatched to 828 Stoneridge Court in Mt. Juliet. Upon arrival, contact was made with Emelina Rodriguez who stated she and her boyfriend Eric Deleon were in the vehicle in the driveway when they began to argue. Eric assaulted Emelina and she pulled a knife in self-defense. Deleon took the knife and sliced her leg leaving a five-inch laceration.

On August 29th, Officer Barth was dispatched 828 Stoneridge Court in Mt. Juliet to a domestic. Upon arrival, he spoke with victim Gregory Alvarez who had a knot on the left side of his face along with a laceration. Gregory said his cousin became angry and struck him repeatedly with his fist. Mr. Alvarez was transported for medical care. Eric fled the scene prior to police arrival.

On August 30th, Officer Michael Wiley was dispatched to 828 Stoneridge Court in Mt. Juliet to an intoxicated person. Upon arrival, Officer Wiley heard a female crying and a male cursing her. When Eric was searched in the system, his two active warrants were discovered and he was taken into custody. Officers spoke with Ms. Rodriguez who stated that her boyfriend came home intoxicated, got into bed, and pulled her hair in an attempt to get her to have sex with him.

Eric Deleon was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and two counts of domestic assault. His bond was set at $8,000.
