Drooling man with cornucopia of drugs found passed out at Twice Daily

feat Reed Kyle

28-year-old Kyle Reed was charged with possession of suboxone, flexin, zolpidem tartrate, cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride, marijuana, and public intoxication after he was found asleep inside his vehicle, parked outside Twice Daily.

On October 12th, Lebanon Police Officer William Nicholson responded to a call at Twice Daily located on 911 South Hartman Drive regarding a man passed out in his vehicle. Officer Nichols noted that he observed a man behind the wheel of the vehicle and was drooling on the console. The officer knocked on the vehicle two times before Kyle Reed woke up. Officer Nicholson smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle. Reed was unsteady on his feet, moving slow, and sluggish. It was noted that he had pinpoint eyes.

Officer Nicholson searched the vehicle and found a half grams of marijuana in a small jar, a grinder, and a one-hitter. In the rear seat, a black box was located that contained several bags of pills marked suboxone, flexin, zolpidem tartrate, two 8mg suboxone strips, cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride, and a legend drug. Reed did not have prescriptions for any of the drugs in his possession but he “had to get them”.

Kyle Reed was arrested and charged with three counts of possession of suboxone, flexin, zolpidem tartrate, suboxone strips, cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride, marijuana, possession without a prescription, unlawful drug paraphernalia, and public intoxication. He was released on his own recognizance.
