Intoxicated Watertown man fires multiple shots inside single-wide

24-year-old Ryan Wood was charged with aggravated assault after he was intoxicated and angry then shot a handgun inside of his family’s home.

On October 2nd, Wilson County Deputy Morse was dispatched to 847 Phillips Lane for a verbal domestic call. Upon arrival, contact was made with Robyn Wood who stated her son, Ryan Wood, was walking around their home with a handgun while he was intoxicated and angry.

His father Richard Wood and uncle Dustin Ray were in the home when Ryan fired one round in his bedroom and one in the living room. A Remington .22 long rifle was found by Deputy Morse, who was told that it was locked in a van after it was taken from Ryan.

Ryan Wood was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $15,000 bond.
