Man at Willow Creek Apartments admits to having heroin in his wallet

34-year-old David Kruithof was charged with possession of heroin after he admitted that the substance police found while he was detained for a possible assault was heroin.

On October 20th, Mt. Juliet Police Officer Paul Foutch was dispatched to a suspicious person call at the Willow Creek Apartments at 708 Willow Creek Drive. Upon arrival, contact was made with the people on the scene, who stated they had been assault by David Kruithof.

They later stated that they would seek a domestic assault warrant, the officer then arrested David. During a search, the officer found a piece of folded paper that contained about 1.5 grams of heroin.

David Kruithof was charged with possession of heroin. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $1,500 bond.
