29-year-old Steven Apple was charged with domestic assault when he struck his mother multiple times for cleaning a skillet that he made pancakes in, per report.
October 11th, Lebanon Police Officer Dillion Hulse responded to a residence located at 406 Coles Ferry Pike to a domestic dispute call. Mary Apple stated that her son, Steven Apple, had been cooking pancakes. The report stated that Mary came into the kitchen and took the skillet to clean it.
Steven became upset and struck his mother multiple times. Mary stated that Steven struck her in the back of the head and then multiple times in the face. Per the affidavit, the defendant admitted that he smacked Mary with an open hand. The actions of Steven placed Mary in fear for her safety.
Steven Apple was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He was released on a $1,000 bond with conditions.
