48-year-old Edward Claybrooks was charged with aggravated assault after he was inside his girlfriend’s home and reportedly struck her in the head several times.
On October 21st, a Lebanon Police Officer was dispatched to a domestic assault call at 303 Cleveland Avenue. Upon arrival, contact was made with Sharise Raines who stated that she arrived home and found her boyfriend, Edward Claybrooks inside the residence.
It was stated that Edward was Belligerent and angry he then took her phone while she was trying to call the Police. Raines stated that Edwards then began hitting her in the head multiple times before shoving her, causing her knee to snap. There was noticeable deformation in Raines’s knee.
Edward Claybrooks was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $1,500 bond.
