25-year-old Daniel Barnes was charged with domestic assault after grabbing his girlfriend’s arm causing her to bump her head.
On October 4th, Wilson County Deputy Bandy was dispatched to a domestic dispute call at 3120 Hickory Ridge Road in Lebanon. Upon arrival, contact was made with Daniel Barnes who stated that he was sick earlier and tried talking to his girlfriend, Faith Via, who he sated was ignoring him.
Daniel grabbed her arm and accidentally bumping her head when he was trying to get her attention. Deputy noticed Faith had a red handprint on her arm when Daniel had grabbed her. Faith was noted to have a knot in the middle of her forehead.
Daniel Barnes was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He was released on a $1,000 bond with conditions.
