30-year-old Larry Pitts and 36-year-old Jessica Evans were charged with possession of cocaine for resale and tampering with evidence after he tried to hide a bag of cocaine in his mouth and she was caught putting a bag of cocaine in her bra, per report.
On November 17th, Lebanon Police Officer Johnson arrived at the residence of 245 Thorne Court in response to a report of homicidal threats. Upon arrival, Cassandra Neal advised that her ex-boyfriend, Larry Pitts, repeatedly contacted her through phone calls, text messages, and Facebook messages stating that he was going to have a $1,000 hit put on her for “being a snitch.” She feared for her life and while on the scene, Pitts called Neal and Officer Johnson heard him threatening her over speakerphone.

On November 19th, Lebanon Police Officer Parrish identified Larry Pitts, who had active warrants, driving near North Greenwood Extension. During a traffic stop, the officer detained Pitts and put him in his patrol car. He then observed the passenger, Jessica Evans, concealing a plastic bag that contained approximately 0.74 grams of cocaine in her bra. He reported that Pitts was moving inside the patrol car and when he opened the door, he slipped his restraints and had a bulge in his mouth.
According to the affidavit, a plastic bag with over five grams of methamphetamine was retrieved from Pitts’ mouth and three bags of approximately 9.9 grams of cocaine were discovered on the floor at his feet. Officer Parrish then transferred Pitts and Evans to the Wilson County Jail. When they were inside the sally port, Evans had slipped her handcuffs. She then handed Correctional Deputy Smith a plastic bag of marijuana from her bra.
Larry Pitts was arrested and charged with two counts of retaliation of past acts, domestic assault, driving while in possession of meth, possession of cocaine for resale, possession of meth, and tampering with evidence. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $166,000 bond.
Jessica Evans was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine for resale, and tampering with evidence. She is currently jailed in lieu of a $56,000 bond.
