Man admits that he wanted to kill himself to police after wrecking his vehicle; charged with DUI

49-year-old Christopher Ennis was charged with driving under the influence and implied consent after he crashed his vehicle then told officers that he had been drinking all day.

On October 21st, Lebanon Police Officer Vance responded to a crash on 450 Highway 109 North where he found Christopher Ennis behind the wheel. The vehicle was reportedly still running.

The officer reported there were several empty liquor bottles and a box of medication in the vehicle. Christopher told the officer that he had been drinking all day and advised that he was trying to kill himself. He was transported to the hospital but refused to give blood. This was Christopher’s first DUI offense.

Christopher Ennis was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and implied consent. He was later released on a $1,200 bond.
