Woman’s son lets deputy in to serve her warrants after she blatantly ignored them

54-year-old Laurie Perry was charged with resist, stop, and frisk after a deputy showed up to her house to serve her a warrant, and refused to comply with their orders for her to come outside.

On October 21st, Wilson County Deputy Anderson arrived at 8469 Saundersville Road in Mt. Juliet to serve active warrants to Laurie Perry. Deputy Anderson stated he arrived at the residence and while knocking on the door, Deputy Anderson made eye contact with Perry as she walked through the residence.

Perry ignored the deputy and the announcements that Anderson made over the patrol car’s P.A. system requesting Perry to exit the residence. Her son let deputies in the residence and contact was made with Perry was in a hallway.

Laurie Perry was arrested and charged with stop, frisk, halt. Perry was later released on a $1,000 bond.
