Intoxicated man charged after puking in vehicle and crashing into guard rail

26-year-old Jonathan Guerra was charged with driving under the influence and violating implied consent law after reportedly driving into a guard rail while drunk.

On December 5th, Lebanon Police Officer Travis Rourke was dispatched to a vehicle crash on South Cumberland Street and I-40. Per the affidavit, when he arrived, he saw a vehicle that hit a guard rail. He made contact with the driver, identified as Jonathan Guerra.

Officer Rourke noted that he had a strong odor of alcoholic beverages on his breath, and he had vomited inside of his vehicle. Jonathan showed several signs of impairment on all sobriety tasks given and later admitted that he was too intoxicated to continue them.

Jonathan Guerra was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and violating implied consent law. He was later released on a $2,000 bond.
