40-year-old Steven Purkerson was charged with public intoxication after police say he was harassing customers at Voodoo Smokehouse and appeared to be intoxicated.
On December 9th, Lebanon Police Officer Robert was dispatched to Voodoo Smokehouse for a report of a man harassing store patrons. Officers made contact with Steven Purkerson at 404 South Cumberland Street.
The officer stated that he had red watery eyes, seemed disoriented, and had an odor commonly associated with alcohol on his person. He was placed into custody for his own safety and that of the public.
Steven Purkerson was arrested and charged with public intoxication. He was later released on his own recognizance.
