Mt. Juliet Police say 52-year-old Priya Narula intentionally swerved into another vehicle’s lane of travel, brake-checked it, and blocked it in as it exited the interstate. She then got out of her vehicle, spat, yelled and made obscene gestures at the other driver.
An arrest warrant for Priya Narula details how she willfully and knowingly placed a driver and his passenger in danger of severe physical injury or death on August 15th. The victim was driving on I-40 when another vehicle, driven by Priya Narula, began to intentionally swerve into his lane of travel causing him to take evasive action to avoid a collision. The vehicle then passed him, got directly in front of him, and slammed on the brake, causing another need to take evasive action to avoid a collision.
The victim exited the interstate, at which time Priya Narula was able to overtake the vehicle and block it in. At this time, the victim says Narula got out of her vehicle and began making gestures, yelling, and spitting at the victim and his wife. Narula was charged with 2 counts of reckless endangerment, booked into the Wilson County Jail, and released on a $25,000 bond.
