Police say 37-year-old Brandon Gurley had 5 bags of methamphetamine, totaling a half-ounce, in the folds of his body. They were discovered during a traffic stop for following too close.
On November 13th, 2019, police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for following too closely to another vehicle. The driver was identified as Brandon Gurley. Brandon told police there was a handgun under the seat and that he is a convicted felon.
During the police investigation, officers located 5 bags of methamphetamine that were discovered in one of Brandon’s body folds. The combined weight totaled 14 grams of methamphetamine.
Brandon Gurley was arrested and charged with being a felon in possession of a handgun, and once the drugs came back from the lab, he was charged with possession of methamphetamine, and driving while in possession of methamphetamine. His bond was set at $9000.00.
