34-year-old Keith Jurak was charged with theft of merchandise after an employee observed him stashing items in a Walmart shopping bag and heading for the exit.
On March 12th, Officer Youmans responded to a theft call at the Walmart on Pleasant Grove Road. Frank Covich with Walmart’s Loss Prevention reported a shoplifter that had been apprehended.
According to the affidavit, Frank told authorities that Keith Jurak entered the store with a Walmart bag and proceeded to stow $253.49 worth of merchandise in the bag and his pockets. Keith was apprehended after passing all points of sale in an attempt to exit the store.
Keith Jurak was arrested and charged with theft of merchandise. He was later released on his own recognizance.
