48-year-old Jack Baird was charged with domestic assault after he reportedly shoved his girlfriend’s head into a speaker during an argument.
On March 11th, police responded to a domestic dispute that occurred on Lebanon Road in Mount Juliet. Officers made contact with Bobbi Jo Mattingly, who had an open bleeding laceration on her forehead. Bobbi Jo told police that she and boyfriend Jack Baird were involved in an argument that included her throwing a ring at him.
She then told officers after that happened, Jack shoved her head causing her to hit her it on a speaker. Jack admitted that he and Bobbi Jo had an argument, but stated that he only swatted his hand at her head and did not shove her. Jack was determined to be the primary aggressor by officers.
Jack Baird was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He was later released on his own recognizance.
