Woman getting her swerve on charged with drug paraphernalia

32-year-old Tiffanie Anders was arrested and charged with drug paraphernalia after being pulled over for swerving in traffic and a computer check revealed she has an active child support attachment. While in custody, she removed a plastic baggy from her pocket containing methamphetamine.

On March 10th, Officer Bates was on routine patrol in the area of Highway 109 and Leeville Pike in Lebanon. The officer observed a vehicle that was weaving in and out of traffic and initiated a traffic stop. The driver was identified as Joshua Anders and the passenger was identified as Tiffanie Anders.

Officer Bates conducted a computer check and discovered they both had active child support attachments and Joshua also had a suspended license due to a failure to appear in Lafayette City Court in October 2019. Both Tiffanie and Joshua were placed into custody.

Officer Bates gave both an administrative warning about bringing any illegal items into booking. After this warning, Tiffanie pulled a plastic baggy with a crystal-like residue out of her pocket that tested positive for methamphetamine.

Tiffanie Anders was arrested and charged with drug paraphernalia. She was released on her own recognizance on this charge. However, she is currently jailed in lieu of a $15,435.48 bond on a separate charge.
