Lebanon man charged after pushing girlfriend and taking her phone

59-year-old Frank Saltzgiver was charged with domestic assault after his girlfriend reported to police they had an argument about text messages in his phone and he threw her clothes outside, pushed her, and snatched her cell phone.

On April 7th, Officer Travis Rourke was dispatched on a domestic call at 941 Carthage Highway. Upon arrival, Frank Saltzgiver told police that he was going through a breakup with his girlfriend Jeanetta Brown. He then admitted to throwing Jeanetta’s clothes outside and that he took her phone.

Officer Rourke then spoke with Jeanetta, who stated that she and Frank got into an argument about text messages that were on his phone. She said Frank then threw her clothes outside and while she was gathering her belongings, he blocked the bedroom door. He then started pushing her, grabbed her phone, and ran outside. She followed him to get her phone back, but Frank threw it.

According to the affidavit, officers determined during their investigation that Frank was the primary aggressor and was taken into custody.

Frank Saltzgiver was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He was later released on his own recognizance.
