Watertown man charged for shoving future ex-wife, possessing firearms as a felon

49-year-old Morrio Jennings was charged with domestic assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon after his wife reported to police that he shoved her and while on scene, deputies discovered him to be a convicted felon and found two shotguns inside the home.

On April 5th, deputies were dispatched to 427 Alydar Drive in Watertown for a call regarding a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, Rachel Jennings reported that she and her husband Morrio Jennings are going through a divorce and today he got angry and shoved her, causing redness to her thigh, arms, and chest.

Rachel said she then yelled for her 17-year-old son to help her and when she did this, Morrio got in his car and left. Deputies noted that during a search of the home, they discovered a New England Firearms 12 gauge and a Winchester Ranger Model 120 12 gauge shotgun. According to the affidavit, Morrio has been convicted of a felony drug charge.

Morrio Jennings was charged with domestic assault and possession of firearm by convicted felon. His bond was set at $2,400.
