Lebanon man charged for pointing gun and firing shot at his ex-wife, per report

29-year-old Juan Vasquez was charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, and unlawful possession of a weapon after he went to his ex-wife’s house, pointed a gun at her head, and fired a shot toward her feet while their children were outside.

On April 7th, Officer Winfree was dispatched to 65 Greentree Point Circle in reference to a domestic assault. Upon arrival, Beronica Vasquez spoke with police and during their investigation, officers discovered that Juan Vasquez was arguing with his ex-wife about their children.

According to Beronica, Juan came over to her house and while their children were outside, he pulled a gun out of his waist and pointed it at her head. She said he then lowered the gun toward the ground by her feet and shot. Officers noted the gun used was a 40 caliber and they also found brass knuckles on Juan’s person.

Juan Vasquez was charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, and unlawful possession of a weapon. He was later released on his own recognizance.
