Mt. Juliet man charged after son’s mother says he hurt her and wouldn’t let her leave during visit

30-year-old Jherad Holcomb was charged with false imprisonment, domestic assault, and violation of order of protection a woman told police he hit her and wouldn’t let her leave after she brought their son over for a visit.

On February 15th, Officer Megan Smith responded to 635 Belinda Parkway to investigate a domestic situation. According to the affidavits, officers spoke with Brittany Judd who told them she visited Jherad Holcomb so that their son could see his father. She also attested that while she was resting in an upstairs bedroom, Holcomb wanted to see her phone and once he had it he would not give it back to her or allow her to exit the room.

Judd stated that once they returned downstairs, Holcomb would not let her leave the home and slapped her when she attempted to escape through the garage. After forcing and restricting Judd’s movement within the house and another attempt at an escape, Holcomb threw Judd into a bathroom sink. Davidson County Court issued an order of protection against Jherad Holcomb for Brittany Judd on October 31st, 2019.

Jherad Holcomb was arrested and charged with false imprisonment, domestic assault, and violation order of protection. His bond was set at $8,000.
