31-year-old Max Szczublewski was charged with violation of an order of protection when a call about a suspicious vehicle and light violation led to the discovery that his passenger had an order of protection against him.
On May 9th, Mt. Juliet Police Officer Sam Elliot was called to investigate a suspicious vehicle at Deerfield Apartments located at 401 South Mount Juliet Road. Sergeant Rountree determined the questionable vehicle to be in violation of the light law and it was halted.
Max Szczublewski was identified as the driver and Julia McMurtry his passenger. Szczublewski is supposed to have no contact with McMurtry as per an order of protection issued on October 17th, 2019. The OOP is valid for one year.
Max Szczublewski was arrested and charged with violation of an order of protection. His bond was set at $1,000.
